They've let the city become over-run with homeless camps, druggies (Oregon decriminalized hard drugs last year, so its all well & good in the hood, right?). I hate Portland, I hate everything about Portland, and I'm so goddamned glad to be away from there, I feel for those stuck behind enemy lines there.

The amazing thing is every election cycle, they try to out-do each other for the race to the bottom, and their hypocrisy is almost always on show - like when the nutter JoAnn Hardesty screams about defunding and dismantling the police bureau, then calls them for help when she is "victimized" - she's probably going to be Portland's next mayor too. Before long, the two men are drawn into a twisted game neither wants to lose. But Nate has always been too stubborn for his own good, and he’s determined to be the best assistant his boss has ever had, no matter how insaneor inappropriateRaffaele’s orders may become.
